Microblading

Microblading sessions & mapping

Eyebrow Mapping & Initial Microblading Session will take around 2 hours. After filing out your paperwork, we will apply numbing cream. As we are waiting for the numbing cream to work, we will find your eyebrow color, discuss your desired results and shape, and go over your after-care instructions as well as schedule your 6 week touch up.

We will then remove your numbing cream and begin mapping your eyebrows. Once mapped, we will once again go over your desired brow shape and make a guideline for the microblading process.

Once you approve the guideline & color choice, we will begin the microblading process. Using a manual tattoo technique, tiny hair-like strokes are made while pigment is deposited into the epidermal layer of the skin. Switching from eyebrow to eyebrow and numbing in between we will add small hair-like strokes until we achieve your desired result.

6 Week Touch-up Session will take around an hour. At this point your brows will be completely healed and we can go in and darken/make fuller/adjust shape/touch up any spots where pigment may have fallen out.

Microblading healing process

Day 1 YAY! I am in love with my new eyebrows, Thank you.

Day 2-4 I don't like this color, its way too dark!

Day 5-7 Oh no, my brows are scabbing and falling off!

Day 8-10 My eyebrows are gone!

Day 14-28 Yay, my brows are back! Still looking patchy and kind of uneven though...

Day 42 (After touch-up session) My brows look so beautiful! Thank you so much!

The entire healing process will take 4-6 weeks depending on your body and adherence to after care instructions. Your eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing process.

The pigment will appear very natural looking immediately after the procedure. The color of the pigment will appear darker the next day due to scabs forming. Note that because of natural skin regeneration, after the recovery period (peeling), brows might appear lighter than they did at first. This may give you the impression that the color is fading too quickly.

Often, even after proper after care clients may lose hair strokes which make the brows look uneven. This is very normal. That is why a 6 week touch up appointment is necessary.

Once the healing of the skin starts; it will look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. However, this is superficial color and dry skin being naturally shed from the brows.

The final look of your eyebrows will be apparent approximately 30 days after your procedure.

Once completely healed, always apply a layer of sunscreen (up to 50SPF) on eyebrows when exposed to the sun.

Microblading aftercare

Your eyebrows are sisters, not twins.

Please be patient, this is a 2-step process. Everyone's skin is different & retains ink differently. Be aware that some skin or areas of skin may not take the ink.

Put a clean pillowcase on your pillow tonight before going to bed.

Apply the thinnest layer of A&D ointment to your brows with Q-Tip before bed. (think a thin layer of ChapStick)

*No shower or steam over the brows. Wash face CAREFULLY with a washcloth or cleansing wipe but avoid the brow area.

*Avoid excessive sweating

*No strenuous exercise

*No swimming

*No hot sauna, hot bath or jacuzzi

*No tanning beds

*Avoid direct contact with the sun and wear a hat

*No laser or chemical treatments including facial peels.

*No creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic acid on the face or neck.

*No picking, peeling or scratching of the brow area. You can cause scarring of the area or removal of the pigment if you peel the scabs prematurely.

*No performing tasks related to heavy household cleaning such as a garage or basement where there is a lot of airborne debris.

*No smoking

*No drinking - alcohol in excess as it may lead to slow healing of the area

*No driving in an open-air vehicle such as convertibles, boats or motorcycles.

*No touching the brow area except when apply the above-mentioned product and then only with a cotton swab or pad

*Do not use any facial cleansers or products of any kind over the brow area for 10 days

*No ointment, antibiotic creams or gels

PLEASE NOTE: Itching and flaking may appear during the first seven days post procedure. However, most people have shown that by following the instructions for the aftercare instructions, these symptoms disappear quickly.
