Born in Houston, Texas, Scottie Morgan has been tattooing for over 15 years, building his career through years behind the chair, guest spots, tattoo conventions, and award-winning work.

Known for his clean, crisp linework and attention to detail, Scottie is a versatile artist who enjoys taking on everything from bold custom pieces to the weird, creative ideas that make tattooing fun. His experience, consistency, and ability to turn a client’s idea into a tattoo that works on the body have earned him a loyal clientele both locally and beyond.

When he isn’t tattooing, traveling to conventions, or working on something at Home Base, he’s usually busy chasing around his five kids.

Piercer - Owner

Born and raised in Schuylkill County, Amber is a professional body piercer and co-owner of Home Base Tattoo. She specializes in both adult and children’s piercings, with a focus on creating a comfortable, welcoming experience; especially for nervous clients and first-timers.

Beyond the piercing room, Amber is a huge part of what keeps Home Base running. From managing the shop and working with clients to traveling alongside Scottie for guest spots and tattoo conventions across the country, she’s usually somewhere behind the scenes making things happen.

When she’s not at the shop, she’s balancing life as a mom, a house full of chaos, and approximately 47 things she probably volunteered herself to do.

Home Base isn’t just where she works; it’s something she helped build, and she’s proud to make it a place where clients can walk in, feel comfortable, and leave feeling a little more like themselves.

A longtime member of the local tattoo community and one of Schuylkill County’s OG tattoo artists, Nathias brings years of experience, personality, and old-school tattoo-shop energy to Home Base.

After stepping away from tattooing for a while, Nathias came out of retirement and returned to the chair; bringing all those years of experience right back with him. He’s easygoing, down-to-earth, and always ready to work with clients to turn their ideas into tattoos they’ll be proud to wear.
